Upon prior booking, the visitors of the manor complex can also try their hand at the Glass Workshop.
Works are also made to order. The Glass Workshop has three professional glasswork artists: Eili Soon, Astra Aavik and Kaie Vakepea.
The technological base of the Olustvere Glass Workshop is one of the best in Estonia. The Workshop mainly focuses on the hot treatment of glass or glassblowing, but various other glassworking techniques can also be practised: cold work, sand etching, melting, stained glass windows and mosaics, and glass painting.
Since autumn 2014, Olustvere trains glassblower’s assistants at vocational education level 4. The Olustvere Glass Workshop cooperates with the Estonian Academy of Arts, with both Estonian and foreign artists, organising exhibitions, workshops and performances together.
